Byoung (Bryan) Oh, CPA, has joined Blazier, Christensen, Browder & Virr, P.C. after leading numerous and diverse engagements over 13 years of specialized experience in accounting and tax compliance.
Throughout his career at renowned accounting firms such as BDO and EY, Bryan developed deep expertise in tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, multi-tiered partnership structures, corporate mergers and acquisitions (taxable and tax-free), fiduciary taxation, state and local tax, and inbound and outbound international tax compliance. The industries he has served include real estate, professional services, private equity, farming, retail/wholesale, restaurants, and manufacturing. Before dedicating himself fully to tax, he worked in attestation and audit for more than five years.
He holds a Master of Science in Taxation from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Seoul, South Korea. Bryan moved to Austin in 2022 after living in California for more than a decade. Outside of his professional life, Bryan enjoys daily running and attending his son’s youth baseball games. He has also served at a local Austin community church since his move from California.
